Aldi has announced it will maintain its long-standing practice of shutting all outlets on Boxing Day. Once again, the discount retailer is planning to close its doors on December 26th before resuming normal trading on December 27th. The move forms part of Aldi's pledge to allow employees extra time with loved ones throughout the Christmas period. ‌
