KANSAS CITY — Andrew Mukuba was the subject of some light teasing from teammates as reporters crowded around the Eagles rookie in Sunday’s postgame locker room.

“He got tackled by a tackle,” linebacker Zack Baun said, smiling. “Got hunted down by a tackle!”

“Should’ve scored!” cornerback Cooper DeJean yelled.

Mukuba laughed it off. The Eagles safety knew they were just messing with him after he made the biggest play of the day in Philadelphia’s 20-17 win over the Chiefs.

Mukuba picked off Patrick Mahomes in the red zone and stopped a go-ahead, fourth-quarter drive in Sunday’s Super Bowl rematch at Arrowhead Stadium.
