Fall sports means the return of the state’s high school soccer programs, and their seasons are already in full swing.
Bishop Hendricken, Shea and Scituate all lifted trophies on the boys side in 2024. The Hawks look potent again in Division I while the Raiders have combined with Tolman to form Pawtucket Co-op. The Raiders and Tigers are competing at the top level, ensuring a new champion will be crowned in Division II.
The same will be true in Division III. Scituate is up one step on the ladder after battering its competition – both in the league and elsewhere – throughout a dominant campaign. The Spartans also leave room for someone new to emerge on the season’s final weekend at Rhode Island College.
