Prince Harry is defending his truth.
Nearly three years after he released his explosive memoir Spare , packed with stories about the royal family and how it felt to grow up as the spare to the heir Prince William , the Duke of Sussex denied that he used it to air his family’s “dirty laundry” in public.
“It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible,” Harry told The Guardian in an interview published Sept. 14. “My conscience is clear.”
