Classes are canceled at Evergreen High School this week after a student shot two of his schoolmates before turning the gun on himself last Wednesday.

Jefferson County officials have not confirmed when the high school will reopen.

As of Friday, both students shot by 16-year-old Desmond Holly remained in critical condition at separate hospitals . One was being treated at CommonSpirit St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, and the other had been transferred to Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora.

Updates on their conditions were not immediately available Monday morning from either hospital.
