In true "Love Is Blind" fashion, the trailer for Season 9 of the hit series promises love, heartbreak and deception.

On Sept. 10, Netflix introduced fans to the latest cast of singles who are entering the dating pods. Now, the streaming service has released a first look at the upcoming season.

A new trailer begins with several participants describing what being in love should feel like. They use adjectives ranging from "vulnerable" and "secure" to "fiery" and "spontaneous."

Viewers then get a glimpse into some of the conversations the singles have in the pods. One enthusiastic female participant makes her intentions clear, telling her date, "I want to be engaged in a week — like, I'm getting married."
