Mike McVetta won the ISMA/MSS winged supermodified title Saturday night at the Evans Mills Raceway Park. This veteran Ohio driver did it in championship fashion, grabbing the lead from Mike Ordway Jr. mid-race and rolling to victory in the 100-lap, final point race of the season. The victor picked up a $5,000 check for his win.

Tyler Shullick battled McVetta all season long and came to Evans Mills with a slender two-point lead for this supermod crown. But Tyler redrew the tenth starting position for the feature, while McVetta started in the second row.
