A jury has been sworn in on Monday for the trial of two Just Stop Oil activists, including a Scots woman, after two private jets were sprayed with orange paint in a protest at London Stansted Airport .
The group said at the time of the incident, on June 20 last year, that activists had entered the airfield in Essex and used fire extinguishers filled with paint.
Jennifer Kowalski, 29, from Dumbarton , and Cole Macdonald, 23, from Brighton, both pleaded not guilty to criminal damage at an earlier hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court.
The defendants, who are both on bail, attended the same court on September 15, where they are each to stand trial on the single charge of criminal damage.
They were detained by police after gaining access to a private area of the airfield.
