The Kansas City Chiefs have started the season in a 0-2 hole. The last time the team started 0-2 was in 2014. Back then, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was only a freshman at Texas Tech. If you're a numbers person, you may be aware that the Chiefs are currently on a three-game losing streak dating back to last year's Super Bowl.
Asking yourself if it's fair to panic is an overreaction. The Chiefs are not all the way in uncharted territory, although some injuries have started to mount as they have been playing without two of their best weapons in Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid spoke to the media after the loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and said, "I thought my guys played their tail off and played hard and aggressive football." "They stuck together throughout the game, and that'll pay off for us down the road as we continue to grow."
No reason to panic in Kansas City just yet. When it comes to playoff time, expect the Kansas City Chiefs to be right in the thick of it.
