CONCORD, N.H. —

Gov. Kelly Ayotte will not reappoint the chairman of the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission to another term, as News 9 exclusively reported Monday morning.

Ayotte informed chairman Daniel Goldner of her decision in a letter sent Monday morning. The governor thanked him for his service but did not give a reason for her decision.

Goldner’s term ended on July 1, 2025, and since that day, he has continued to serve in that role. With this announcement, his term ends at 5 p.m. Monday.

Goldner was first appointed in November 2021.
