Vito Coppola has been defended by his Strictly Come Dancing co-star after fans thought he'd made a mistake when reacting to their adorable baby news.

The professional dancer was quick to react when his co-star and friend Dianne Buswell announced she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Joe Sugg.

The couple, who met when they were paired to compete together in the BBC One dance contest in 2018, confirmed in a sweet social media post they were set to become first-time parents on Sunday (September 14).

They took to Instagram with the playful clip, in which they could be seen in their Brighton home, standing behind a wooden easel as they held paints and paint brushes, with the clip set to the Elton John track, Tiny Dancer.
