Eight Republicans Support Epstein Resolution — But Won’t Force the Vote

Rep. Thomas Massie’s push to force a vote on releasing the Epstein files has reached 217 signatures, just one short of the 218 needed to succeed. Every Democrat in the House has signed the discharge petition, while only four Republicans — Massie, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Nancy Mace — have added their names.

That leaves the effort dependent on either one more Republican breaking ranks or a new Democrat arriving from an upcoming special election.
