WASHINGTON — Vice President JD Vance stepped behind the mic Monday to host “The Charlie Kirk Show” in tribute to his longtime friend, days after the conservative activist was shot and killed during a campus event in Utah.
Vance announced his appearance Sunday on X, calling it “an honor” to step in for his late friend.
“Please join me as I pay tribute to my friend,” he wrote .
During Monday's broadcast, Vance, told listeners that the best way he knows how to honor his friend is to be a better husband and father.
