On a gorgeous September evening in the Magic City, among the thousands of fans who would fill up its still-new venue, one Phish fan’s shirt stuck out: Never miss a Sunday show.

A mantra that longtime fans of the foursome know can come true when the group (coincidentally?) gets fun, experimental, a bit weird with a few potential surprises -- either way, it lived up. While we didn’t see any special guests or shocking debuts, Phish blessed Birmingham with a pair of shows the diehards seeing their 200th or the newbies (or “noobs”) enjoying their first ever won’t soon forget.
