The Detroit Lions offense exploded for over 500 yards of offense against the Chicago Bears in a big-time home-opening victory on Sunday .
Huge performances from the wide receiver tandem of Amon-Ra St. Brown (nine catches for 115 yards and three TDs) and Jameson Williams (two catches for 108 yards and one TD) were critical to their success and it resulted in an historical day, according to Pro Football Focus.
The analytics site gave the Detroit offense an 85.2 overall grade and a 90.9 overall receiving grade, the latter being the highest in one game for the Lions as far back as PFF’s data goes (2006).
