Oregon State women’s basketball is adding one of the elite guards in the Pacific Northwest to its 2026 recruiting class.

Ashley Uusitalo announced her commitment to the Beavers on Sunday. Uusitalo is a 5-9 point guard/shooting guard out of Lake Washington High School in the Seattle suburbs.

Uusitalo is Lake Washington’s all-time leader in three-pointers through just three seasons, displaying an ability to drive the lane and make plays as well with a tight handle.

She averaged 17 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals per game as a junior en route to King County 4A MVP honors. She was also named to the 4A all-state first team by the Tacoma News Tribune and ScorebookLive.

Uusitalo is rated the No. 4 player
