The Toronto Blue Jays have the best record in the American League, and Bo Bichette's bounce-back season is a huge reason why.

Bichette entered Monday leading all of baseball in hits. He is slashing .311/.357/.483 with 18 home runs. He was terrible last season, but he is proving that last season was nothing more than an outlier.

He is going to hit free agency after the season, barring a late-season extension, and he should draw plenty of interest. Sports Illustrated's Jackson Roberts predicted that Bichette would leave the Blue Jays and join the Detroit Tigers.

Like the Blue Jays, the Tigers seem like contenders in the AL. They may not be able to keep Tarik Skubal around after he hits the open market, so the team may be willing to make aggressive moves while they have him.
