The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards were a star-studded event, but several stars were noticeably missing from the show.
“The Bear” stars Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri, who received acting nominations for their respective roles as Carmy Berzatto and Sydney Adamu, both skipped the Emmys this year.
According to Variety , White missed the Sunday, Sept. 14, awards show to attend a friend’s wedding. This year marked his third consecutive Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. He won the accolade for “The Bear” in both 2023 and 2024 before losing to Seth Rogen (“The Studio”) on Sunday.
According to E! News, Edebiri was unable to attend the 2025 Emmys because she’s currently filming a project in Japan. She won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for “
