Officials and community leaders in Santa Barbara County, as well as in municipalities across California, are working to address an ongoing housing shortage with an ongoing effort to permit and build housing in impactful and creative ways.

Previously, the ability for those stakeholders and the community overall, to track housing, workforce, and demographic trends was spread over multiple websites and under the purview of disparate agencies.

The Santa Barbara County Association of Governments , announced last week the availability of a new public Housing Data Dashboard giving interested and invested residents a clearer way to track them.
