The new British Ambassador to Argentina, David Cairns , presented his credentials to Foreign Minister Gerardo Werthein during a meeting they held today at Palacio San Martin.
During the meeting, they reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and discussed opportunities for bilateral cooperation in different areas. They both underlined the importance of the bilateral relationship, which this year reached its 200th anniversary, having been formalised by signing of the Treaty of Amity, Commerce and Navigation in 1825.
