Red Sox prospect Connelly Early will receive his second big league start Tuesday against the Athletics at Fenway Park.

The 23-year-old lefty made his MLB debut last Tuesday, striking out 11 in 5 scoreless innings against the A’s in Sacramento.

Boston also announced that righty Lucas Giolito (10-3, 3.31 ERA) will start Wednesday and right-hander Brayan Bello (11-7, 3.25 ERA) will start Thursday.

The Red Sox chose Early to make the start over other young left-handers Payton Tolle and Kyle Harrison. Manager Alex Cora said Sunday that Harrison has been available out of the bullpen in recent days.
