CUBAN LADY (5.00, nap) can fly the flag for trainer Tom Clover in the Goffs Two Million Series Fillies’ Handicap at Yarmouth over six furlongs. ‌

The three-year-old opened her account at Windsor in June, before stepping up in grade at Newmarket’s July course the following month. ‌

But she raced too keenly and ran out of gas to finish fifth of seven to Shallow. ‌

She didn’t finish that far back though – just a length and three-quarters behind the winner – and returning to the July course 25
