EAST LANSING – Michigan State closed out nonconference play unscathed but took a beating in the training room.
The Spartans suffered multiple long-term injuries to key players while others remain questionable following last week’s 41-24 win against Youngstown State.
Coach Jonathan Smith on Monday said starting right guard Luka Vincic is likely out for the season and receiver/kickoff returner Alante Brown will also be sidelined for extended time. Star receiver Nick Marsh and starting running back Makhi Frazier are questionable when the Spartans (3-0) play at USC (3-0) on Saturday (11 p.m. ET, FOX).
