Canadians can now trade in old phones for instant cash through new self-serve kiosks launched by U.S.-based recycling company ecoATM. The first 13 kiosks are now available inside select Walmart stores in the Greater Toronto Area , including Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, and Burlington, with more locations planned.

The kiosks automatically test devices, check ID, and provide a cash offer within minutes. ecoATM says the goal is to give people an easier way to recycle smartphones while keeping e-waste out of landfills.
