Paul Mescal is addressing his romance with Gracie Abrams .

The 29-year-old Gladiator II actor spoke out in a recent cover story for Rolling Stone , out now.

During the profile, Paul was asked about going public with his relationship with the 26-year-old singer on Instagram earlier this year, following their first major public appearance back in November of 2024.

He acknowledged that he didn’t really want to talk about his romantic life in the story.

“I don’t know how to answer that,” he said of when he decided to make their relationship public.

“I actually do have an answer, but everything to do with that is deeply precious to me and I don’t want to…this isn’t…I don’t really…umm…I want to protect those things fundamentally.”
