Baton Rouge Police are currently investigating a bomb threat at the Louisiana Workforce Commission, located at the corner of North 22nd and Fuqua streets off of Interstate 110.

At 1:40 p.m., a spokesperson for the Workforce Commission confirmed all employees had evacuated the building.

"Operations will continue remotely for the remainder of the day," she wrote in an email.

A bomb technician was sent to the government building after a report of a threat was sent to police at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday, a spokesperson for the police department said.

No further details were immediately available.
