Cricket Australia chairman Mike Baird says any money generated from the partial sale of Big Bash clubs will be used to benefit cricket nationally, brushing off suggestions NSW and Victoria deserve a bigger cut of the windfall if plans progress.

Baird and the CA board are in discussions with cricket’s state associations about whether private investment is the best way to grow the sport .
