SPOKANE, Wash. — Washington now has the second-highest gas prices in the nation, only behind California by less than a cent.
According to GasBuddy , gas prices have gone up 16.2 cents in just one week in Washington, averaging $4.621 per gallon.
Spokane County has the lowest gas prices in the state, averaging at $4.294 per gallon, while Clallam County has the highest prices, at $4.835 per gallon.
In California, the highest prices average at $6.249 in Mono County and the lowest average at $3.966 in Tehama County.
GasBuddy reports the national average price of gasoline has fallen 3.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.12 per gallon on Monday, Sept. 15.
