TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — A driver has serious injuries after crashing into a median wall on an East Valley freeway on Monday.

The crash happened around 11:15 a.m. on the US 60 near McClintock Drive in Tempe. A spokesperson for the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) said one vehicle had crashed into the median wall.

The driver of the vehicle involved has “major injuries,” DPS said.

The HOV and left lanes remain blocked as crews respond to this crash.

Details of what led to this crash are not yet available. An investigation is underway.
