FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A plea deal would drop an attempted murder charge for a woman accused of beating and stabbing a man at a Fort Wayne home this spring.
Pam Williams pleaded guilty Monday to aggravated battery in connection to the attack.
Williams was initially implicated alongside her 19-year-old son. In June, a jury found her son not guilty in connection to the case.
Back in March, police began investigating reports of domestic battery in the 1900 block of Hobson Road. Officers at the scene found a man who had been restrained and stabbed.
After being treated at a hospital, he was able to tell police it all started when Williams confronted him about something and the conversation escalated. Williams allegedly stabbed him three times and repeatedly hit him with a clothes hanger,
