The main street of Spencerville was jammed with parked cars the entire length of the town right to its outskirts.

“Our parking lot A and parking lot B were both full and the emergency parking lot off the grounds was overflowing by 10:30,” said Connell.

Long lineups at Saturday morning’s gates forecast the anticipation of the big show.

Fair attendees were advised to be in their grandstand seat by 12:30
