INDIANAPOLIS – A 31-year-old woman is in jail accused of murder after police say a domestic dispute ended with a deadly stabbing on Indy's east side.
According to court records, the suspect initially claimed the fatal stabbing was in self-defense, but she later confessed she was not in fear for her safety; she was simply enraged.
Less than 15 minutes after being driven to Community East Hospital by his domestic partner and two good Samaritans, 20-year-old Breyner Perez Matute died from a single stab wound to his chest early Saturday morning.
