MUNCIE, IN — Actor Hugh Jackman was on the Ball State campus on Monday, Sept. 15.

Students posted photos they took with the "Wolverine" star in the David Letterman Communication and Media Building.

The reason for the Australian actor's visit to Muncie was not immediately announced.

He was reportedly accompanied by Sutton Foster, recently his co-star in a production of "The Music Man" on Broadway. Celebrity media has reported the two are dating.

She is listed as a musical theater instructor teaching cabaret on campus this year.

Foster, a two-time Tony Award winner, has worked with students in Ball State's musical theatre program as a guest instructor, visiting the Muncie campus more than a dozen times.

In May 2012, she received an honorary doctorate from Ball State.
