BEREA, Ohio -- When Sara Donnelly, DC, opened Vivid Chiropractic last year, it marked the next phase in her journey as a medical professional.

Donnelly began her practice five years ago after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa. She mainly worked in large clinics.

But she became frustrated with the high volume of patients she was expected to manage and the emphasis on profit.

“I wanted to spend more time with my patients,” she said.

That led her to open her solo practice in the Helwig Whistlestop office building in February 2024.

She chose the name Vivid after considering several options.

“I wanted something that relates to life,” Donnelly said. “I wanted it to speak to people.”

She entered chiropractic to better care for her daughter, now 12.
