While recruitment demand for physicians remains steady, search times continue to rise, and turnover persists, according to the Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment’s annual benchmarking report.  The report, released Sept. 10, is based on data from 128 health organizations on 15,244 searches, 61% of which were for physicians.

Six findings from the report: 1. The typical organization conducted 96 physician and provider searches last year, while large health systems conducted 368. 2. Most common physician searches occurred in hospital medicine (10.8%), family medicine (10.6%), OB-GYN: general (7.8%) and internal medicine (5.8%). 3.
