LINCOLN, Neb. —

Nebraska football coach Matt Rhule spoke about Omaha boxing legend Terence "Bud" Crawford winning one of the biggest boxing matches of all time in his Monday news conference.

Rhule attended the Saturday night fight in Las Vegas, where Crawford defeated Canelo Alvarez in 12 rounds by unanimous decision .

"I asked our team if I could go," Rhule said. "I didn't want to do anything that was a distraction, and our guys were like, 'Don't ask us what we're doing after the game, we won't ask you what you're doing.'
