Dr. Marc Levy, a pediatric trauma surgeon at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, said his hospital alone has seen a 250% increase in emergency room visits involving e-bike and e-scooter accidents.

"We get our trauma alerts, a lot of times, I'm thinking, 'OK, is it another e-bike or e-scooter injury?' because they've become more and more common," Levy told CNN.
