PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police are looking for the suspect in an armed robbery at a South Peoria liquor store.

Officers were dispatched to Griswold Liquors just after 10:30 P.M. on Friday.

An employee told police that a male suspect wearing a black mask entered the store and allegedly showed a handgun.

The employee complied with the suspect’s demands, with an unknown amount of cash taken. The victim was not injured.

The suspect was not found by police during a search of the area.
