ALLEN PARK – Detroit Lions starting pass rusher Marcus Davenport ended Sunday on a bittersweet note, with his health status now in limbo.

During the Lions’ 52-21 rout of the Chicago Bears, the veteran defender recorded the team’s first sack of the season, bringing down Caleb Williams on an impressive play. Unfortunately for Davenport and the Lions, he injured his shoulder on that same play and was forced to exit the game.

On Monday, Lions coach Dan Campbell shared where things stand with Davenport’s status.

“We’re still getting things looked at with that. We’ll see where that’s at,” Campbell said.
