Munroe Falls City Councilman John Impellizzeri has resigned and is the subject of an investigation by his employer, University Hospitals, after a post he made about conservative leader Charlie Kirk.

Munroe Falls' police chief said no threats were made to his department and that he is unaware of any threats to other city departments after Impellizzeri alleged various departments received threats.

The Beacon Journal has reached out to Impellizzeri for comment.
