HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Individuals who wish to attend Hamilton County School’s (HCS) athletic events or board meetings with be required to go through security screenings.
HCS made this announcement in a release on Monday evening, along with other requirements.
Minors under the age of 18 and not enrolled in either school participating in the athletic event, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Those who attend the athletic event will also be subject to a security screening when entering the game.
HCS says these screenings could include a hand-held or walk-through metal detector scan and bag check.
All bags brought to the athletic events must be clear and smaller than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.
Diaper bags and medically necessary bags will be allowed.
