Oklahoma County Commissioner Myles Davidson avoided a victim's protective order being issued against him Monday, Sept. 15, after a hearing was delayed because of a possible criminal investigation.

The hearing on a woman's request for protection was scheduled for Monday in Cleveland County District Court in Norman. It was reset for Oct. 15 before Associate District Judge Beth Stanley "by agreement," meaning the woman had no objection to the postponement.
