MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Timberwolves added to their offense on Monday by announcing the signing of free agent Johnny Juzang.

The smooth-shooting forward/guard spent three seasons with Utah and is coming off a career-best year in points (8.9) and rebounds (2.9). Juzang is a threat from the perimeter, hitting 37.6% of his three-point shots last season, which would have given him the fourth-best percentage of anyone on the Wolves averaging at least 4.9 attempts per game.

The 6-foot-7 Los Angeles native appeared in 102 games with the Jazz over three seasons, including 23 starts. In that time, Juzang averaged 7.9 points and 2.5 rebounds.

Terms of the agreement have not been released.
