Devicemakers Siemens Healthineers and Cook Medical have entered into a partnership to develop fully equipped MRI rooms for hospitals, specifically for interventional procedures.  The partnership aims to combine real-time MRI imaging with specialized medical devices to help train clinical teams, according to a Sept. 13 news release from Cook Medical. 

The new iMRI suites are intended to support minimally invasive procedures including in areas such as oncology, pediatrics and structural heart interventions.
