CLEVELAND — Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost is calling for a judge to dismiss the Browns' federal lawsuit regarding the future site of their stadium.

Yost argues the team's lawsuit, which deals with the constitutionality of the so-called "Art Modell Law," is now irrelevant — since the Ohio General Assembly modified the law this past summer.

For reference, there are currently multiple pending lawsuits connected to the Browns' possible move out of downtown to a new domed stadium in Brook Park — one from the city of Cleveland filed in state court, and another filed by the Haslam Sports Group in federal court.
