BRADY, Neb. (KNOP) - A man washing his windshield outside a Lincoln County gas station narrowly escaped being hit by a car over the weekend.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to Brady Get N Go at around 6:51 p.m. Sunday for a report of an injury accident.
The driver of a truck was washing his windshield at the gas station when he was struck in the lower leg by a car as it rolled. His truck was also damaged in the crash along with a street pole.
The driver of the car was transported to Great Plains Health with minor injuries by Brady Fire Department.
An accident reconstructionist was called to the scene.
Based off the investigation, the sheriff’s office said the driver of the car will be cited for reckless driving as his minimum speed was at least 6
