HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - Teachers from across the state participated in a survey of what’s going right and what challenges exist for them and their students in 2025.
The survey was done as part of an exclusive partnership between WFSB and the Connecticut Education Association, or CEA, Connecticut’s largest teachers union.
About 1,000 teachers from all over the state were part of this survey.
According to the survey, a little more than 37% of teachers were looking forward to going back to school. 31% were indifferent and another 31% were not looking forward to returning.
“I think the excitement was coupled with a sense of anxiety, because we knew what was also going to come along with that,” said Jason Ghidini, a Southington teacher.
