Fifty years after leading the Boston Red Sox to the 1975 American League pennant, the club’s iconic outfield of Jim Rice, Fred Lynn and Dwight Evans were back together again on Monday.

The trio reunited for the Tim Wakefield Memorial Golf Tournament — the Red Sox Foundation’s annual golf tournament at Belmont Country Club. Lynn posted a picture of the three smiling legends at the event on X with the following caption:

“And there’s the ‘75 outfield. On the field again.. just a different field. Tim Wakefield Memorial Golf Tournament. @RedSox @nesn Let the game begin. #goodtimes #goodcause.”

The fundraiser is held in honor of Wakefield and his wife, Stacy, who passed away from cancer in October 2023 and February 2024.
