FORT WORTH, Texas — Preston Moore made some of his best memories as part of the Southwest High School marching band.
“My last year in the band program, I was playing snare and I was the drum line captain,” said Preston Moore, former SW High band member.
Now he and his former classmates want to know who attacked their former band director, Jeffrey Demaagd.
“That's not right. Nobody deserves that,” said Moore.
Just before 5 p.m. on September 12, Fort Worth police responded to Southwest High School. Band Director Jeffrey Demaagd told officers he confronted four young people about climbing on the fixed tower in the school parking lot, something even Preston admits doing as a student.
