RICHARDSON, Texas — It’s karaoke night at the String Bean in Richardson.
When Cristy Medearis, known professionally as DJ C-Rae, started deejaying at the restaurant just a few weeks ago, she never expected to hear such an astonishing performance.
It happened when 77-year-olds Jerry Guy and Ben Coker stepped to the mic.
“When they started singing and they knew every word I was like, ‘I have to capture it,’” Medearis said.
Guy and Coker sang a duet and when they began jaws hit the floor.
“Shorty got low, low, low, low, low, low, low,” the lyrics poured out of their mouths.
Two men, both nearly 80, were singing “Low” by rap artist Flo Rida.
“It’s such a shock when they first hear that come out of our mouths,” Guy said.
“Everyone was singing and dancing,” said Medearis. “It was awesome
